About Us

Lean for a Lifetime is a program designed by our Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist, Ken Mierke, author of Lean for a Lifetime: an Athlete’s Guide to Losing the Last Ten Pounds.  Ken has lost 75 pounds himself and kept it off for over a decade.  Ken has studied the science of bodyfat reduction extensively, holding a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with minors in Nutrition, Biology, and Psychology and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Sports Psychology.  Ken owns an Exercise physiology laboratory and has performed over 6,700 metabolic exercise and resting metabolic rate tests.
